TALBOT is a project where we will develop a cognitive architecture for PAL Robotics’ humanoid robots ARI, supporting adaptability. We aim to validate its functionality and establish the benefits it could bring with respect to more traditional pre-scripted interaction protocols for robots.
In addition, situated conversations require the robot to take appropriate actions, regarding the environment and behavior of the people in it. We will validate the proposed technology in healthcare applicative scenarios, and in particular in a day hospital for users of diverse ages.
